President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation led by Director General of Board Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Zmim bin Joiber.
The Head of State noted cooperative and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia were developing successfully in a variety of fields.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that this cooperation would have positive impact on development of relations between the two countries` border authorities.
The Azerbaijani leader said "apart from political and economic relations, security issues are also very important".
The Head of State underlined the importance of border service in terms of ensuring security of each country.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that the cooperation between the two countries` relevant authorities would be developed.
The Director General of Saudi Arabian Board Guard said he had eye-witnessed big development processes in Baku.
Mr. Zmim bin Joiber praised achievements of friendly Azerbaijan in recent years.
He noted cooperation between the two countries` border authorities would be developed in the near future, expressing confidence this will contribute to strengthening bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan.
