President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Chief Executive Officer of Statoil Helge Lund, Azertag reported.
The Head of State hailed long-term partnership between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and Statoil as a good indicator of the cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of new projects between SOCAR and Statoil.
Helge Lund noted the role of stability in Azerbaijan in terms of development of oil and gas industry in the country.
During the meeting, they discussed prospects for cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and Statoil.
