Iranian, Kazakh foreign ministers hope for continued Almaty G5+1 talks

Ministers of foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Islamic Republic of Iran in a phone talk Friday expressed hope that Iran-G 5+1 talks for solving Tehran-West nuclear dispute politically would continue, IRNA reported.

The media office of the IRI diplomacy apparatus reported that the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov and the Islamic Republic of Iran Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi in their phone talk on Friday evening while surveying the latest status of Tehran-Astana bilateral relations, talks also about the latest developments in Iranian peaceful nuclear program.

The two sides in the phone talk consulted on the different rounds of talks recently held in Almaty 2 talks, expressing hope that the Iran-G 5+1 negotiations would be resumed as soon as possible.

Mr. Idrissov also invited his Iranian counterpart to participate at the 3rd Meeting of the Istanbul Process on Afghanistan, which is scheduled to be held in Almaty on April 26th.

Iran released a statement following the conclusion of the second round of Almaty 2 talks in Kazakhstan to shed light on the comprehensive negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the P5+1 group.
