Turkey and Kuwait signed an agreement to abolish the visa regime yesterday, the Sabah newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed during the visit of Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Turkey.
At the first stage holders of diplomatic passports, science and culture figures and sportsmen will be exempted from visa requirement.
The two sides also signed a number of agreements in the fields of economy, tourism and culture.
Earlier, on April 28, Turkey signed an agreement on visa-free regime with Moldova.
