The Muslim Brotherhood movement began to surrender in the struggle for power in Egypt, as it doesn't have any chance of returning to power, according to the analyst of the Egyptian newspaper Jumhuriyat, Hisham Basyuni.

"The Muslim Brotherhood understood that they have been totally deprived of US support, so their main aim for the present is to avoid persecution in their own country," Basyuni told Trend on Tuesday.

"The big mistake made by the Muslim Brotherhood is that they used photos from Syria saying they were made in Egypt during the clashes between the army and the Islamists," the analyst said.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt will have to come to terms with a new power of the country, but it remains unknown whether that new power will want to go into negotiations with them.

Egypt's Prosecutor General's Office issued an order to arrest the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood movement on July 10.

After Egyptian militants suspended the legitimacy of constitution and ousted Mohammed Morsi from power, fighting between his supporters and opponents hasn't stopped.

The Egyptian Islamists do not recognise the recent decisions and demand the return of power to the legally elected president.
