President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the opening of the Ashaghi Kungut-Aydinbulag highway in Shaki after reconstruction.
The Head of State viewed photos reflecting previous and current look of the highway.
The Azerbaijani leader was informed about the technical and economic indicators of the road.
The Ashaghi Kungut-Aydinbulag highway is 30 km in length, and 6 meters in width. Reconstruction of the road started in December, 2012.
The highway links 8 ersidential areas with the total population of 8,000 people. Reconstruction work included the building of a bridge over the road. The bridge is 10 meters in length, and 8 meters in width.
The Azerbaijani President cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the highway.
