Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 27 / Trend /

British influential organization Dods Polling has conducted a survey among 100 MPs of the United Kingdom. The survey has been conducted on a parity basis in accordance with gender, regional and party staffs of the House of Commons of the British Parliament.

According to the survey, around 72 percent of respondents have appreciated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's activity and have stressed that he is a reliable partner of the West, particularly the United Kingdom and the leader, supporting the country's integration into Europe.

While answering the question connected with the UN Security Council resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884, calling for the withdrawal of occupation forces from Azerbaijan's sovereign territory, the majority has responded that it is necessary to implement and apply these resolutions.

According to the survey results, the number of positive responses to this question is 18 times more than the number of negative responses. This reflects the strong support for the rights of internally displaced persons, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the United Nations.

Around one million refugees and displaced persons are not able to return back to their homes during the period of non-fulfillment of the resolutions adopted by the UN Security Council.

Around 94 percent of respondents have expressed confidence that the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) will strengthen Europe's energy security.

Dods Polling is an organization with rich experience of conducting surveys, information and political analysis, creating and developing the social and communication platforms in the UK and Europe.
