All information which has been published about details of Iran's new nuclear proposal is untrue, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote in his Facebook page.

He went on to note that the published information is not related to Iran's proposal as well as issues discussed during the last Iran-P5+1 meeting.

He also criticised the Iranian media for republishing the information.

The negotiations were useful and constructive he reported, adding that both sides agreed the discussions remain confidential.

He also wrote that, "we are not afraid of revealing details of the talks, but our target is to achieve an agreement, not promotional actions."

Some media outlets have published information which they claim are 'Iran's new nuclear proposal's details citing an Iranian diplomat'.

Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany known as the P5+1, held a new round of talks on Tehran's nuclear energy programme in Geneva on October 15 and 16.

Both sides announced that the negotiations were held in a positive atmosphere.

Iran submitted a new proposal to P5+1 during the meetings.
