Eastern Partnership countries' electoral system to be discussed in Strasbourg

The opportunities for improvement of the electoral system in the Eastern Partnership countries will be discussed in Strasbourg, Trend reported with the reference to the Venice Commission official website.
An exchange of experience and good practice between representatives of the Central Electoral Commission and experts from participating countries will be held. The role of electoral commissions in the training of election observers, improving their functioning, practical difficulties and questions encountered by the election commissions with observers will be discussed during the seminar.
The seminar will be held by the Venice Commission on November 25-26.
Attending will be representatives of the Central Electoral Commissions of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, as well as international experts, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and OSCE/ODIHR.
