Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today met the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Sochi as he embarked on a working visit to Russia.
They hailed Azerbaijan-Qatar relations, in particular in the field of politics.
The Azerbaijani President and the Qatari Emir noted the importance of strengthening efforts to expand the bilateral cooperation.
They discussed prospects for expanding Azerbaijan-Qatar economic cooperation, particularly in the fields of trade, investment making, tourism and agriculture, as well as in establishing joint enterprises.
