The final declaration of the Arab Cooperation and Economic Forum with Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan was adopted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia today, on May 13.

The declaration highlights the importance of settling the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council and within Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

The Riyadh declaration also underscores the significance of the Baku Humanitarian Forum, which has been initiated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and is annually held under his patronage.

Moreover, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the League of Arab States, the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan during the forum.

The memorandum focuses on the importance of expanding the cooperation between the Arab states, the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan in political, economic, trade, finance and other spheres.

It further highlights the need to create cooperation mechanisms in the abovementioned fields.

At the same time, the memorandum emphasizes the obligations to comply with the norms and principles of the international law, in particular, the principles of territorial integrity and sovereignty.
