President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjorn Jagland on May 22.
During the meeting the sides pointed to the importance of expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe, highlighted the role of Azerbaijan in strengthening energy security in Europe and exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation.
