Azerbaijan's Consul General in Dubai Parviz Ismailzade at a meeting with the deputy chief of the Main Department of residence and Aliens in Dubai, Major General Obaid Bin Moheyr Sorour discussed prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE, especially with Dubai in the field of migration, says the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan on Aug. 21.
Consul General briefed his counterpart about the reforms, additions and changes made to the legislation in the field of migration, and about the activities carried out by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan.
Ismaildaze also explained the new airport terminal complex at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, and stressed the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE in the area of migration.
Obaid bin Moheyr Sorour said that the UAE is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the field of migration.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
