The French Thales Group intends to expand its activities in Azerbaijan, the company's CEO Jean Bernan Levy said at a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, the press service of the Ministry said Oct.3.
Thales Group is a French multinational company that designs and builds electrical systems and provides services for the aerospace, defence, transportation and security markets.
At the meeting the minister said that the involvement of modern technologies and best practices in the economy of the country is one of priority directions.
He added that the country has created favorable environment for business and investment, and invited the French businessmen to actively cooperate with Azerbaijani ones.
Levy expressed his satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan and informed about the activities of the company. He said that Thales Group operates in 50 countries around the world, including Azerbaijan.
A number of projects have already been successfully implemented in the framework of this activity. He said that the company is interested in expanding operations in the country.
Also at the meeting it was noted that the economic ties between the two countries successfully develop, and prospects for expanding cooperation were discussed.
