The military-political regime in Armenia still continues to make irresponsible statements threatening Azerbaijan, the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan told Trend Nov. 17.
"Armenia, deceiving its people and pulling it to provocations, is pursuing an aggressive policy against Azerbaijan," the ministry said, adding this is due to the fact that Armenia misestimates the real situation currently present in the region.
"The enemy has to recognize the importance of withdrawing its troops from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, and shouldn't involve the Armenian youth in the war," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
"Azerbaijan's armed forces are able and stand ready to prevent any provocation of the enemy," the ministry added. "If the enemy once again dares to carry out any military operation, the immediate blow by Azerbaijan's armed forces will be effective and destructive, leading to huge losses and destruction."
