About 20 percent of Moldovan citizens living in Azerbaijan have already voted at a polling station created at Moldova's Embassy in Baku for the parliamentary elections, the polling station chairman, Georgi Botan told Trend Nov. 30.

Today, Moldova is holding the parliamentary elections.

Moldova's Embassy in Baku created a polling station for the Moldovan citizens in Azerbaijan to take part in the parliamentary election.

The Moldovan citizens permanently or temporarily residing in Azerbaijan and aged 18 and over (including on the election day) can take part in the voting.

The Moldovan citizens in Baku need to bring with themselves a passport for travelling abroad or a seaman's passport to participate in the elections.

Some 25 electoral competitors were included to the ballots for the parliamentary elections in Moldova.

The parliamentary elections, taking place Nov. 30, involve 21 political parties, four independent candidates, and one electoral bloc, which are running for 101 seats in the parliament.
