The Relief Fund assistance to the armed forces of Azerbaijan rose by 1.407.022 AZN during December, 2014, the Defense Ministry told Trend Jan.5.

The official exchange rate for Jan, 5 is 0.7844 AZN / USD.

Prior to January 1, 2015 AZN account of the Relief Fund amounted to 60.603.102 AZN, and the dollar account - $211,791, the euro account - 593 euros.

The increase in funds occurred only in the AZN account.

The Armed Forces Relief Fund was created by presidential decree on August 17, 2002. The relief fund for the armed forces is formed by the voluntary contributions of individuals and entities operating in Azerbaijan and other revenue not prohibited by law, the decree said.
