The head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov left for the US and took part in the Atlantic Council's conference on January 29. It is one of the most influential analytical centers entitled "Transatlantic Strategy for Eastern Europe", the Azerbaijani embassy in the US told Trend.
Along with Latvia, chairing in the EU Council, Azerbaijan was represented by the chairman of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov at a conference in Washington. A meeting with US Vice President Joe Biden was held as part of the conference.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the cooperation prospects with Azerbaijan. The bilateral relations between the US and Azerbaijan were discussed. The country's contribution to the energy security of Europe was stressed.
