Ilham Aliyev receives delegation led by speaker of Hungary’s National Assembly
Baku, Azerbaijan, June 17
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Laszlo Kover.
Saying that relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary are developing successfully, President Ilham Aliyev recalled with pleasure his last visit to Hungary. The head of state said the bilateral cooperation is actively developing, adding there are good opportunities for the strengthening of the relations in a variety of areas.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that the visit of the delegation led by Laszlo Kover to Azerbaijan would contribute to the development of interparliamentary ties between the two countries. The head of state expressed confidence that the visit will create a good opportunity for the delegation to closely familiarize themselves with Azerbaijan.
Touching upon President Ilham Aliyev's last visit to Hungary, Laszlo Kover stressed the importance of the visit and the documents signed during it in terms of the expansion of the bilateral ties. The speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary praised the excellent organization of the First European Games.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views over the issues related to the further development of ties between the two countries in energy, education, healthcare and other fields.
