A new military attaché was appointed to Turkey's embassy in Azerbaijan, said the embassy in a message August 6.
Brigadier General Ihsan Basbozkurt will from now on serve as the military attaché of the Turkish embassy.
The position was previously held by Brigadier General Nevzat Tasdeler.
Basbozkurt will soon take the office. He is the commander of a brigade of the Turkish armed forces in the province of Urfa.
