Special flights may be opened in line with the 7th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), which will be held in Baku Apr.25-27.

This issue was discussed during the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev to Doha, Qatar in order to expand the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the countries of the Persian Gulf in areas of culture and tourism.

The minister held a meeting with the first deputy chairman of Qatar Airways company, the ministry's press service told Trend Apr.6.

During the meeting the parties discussed the feasibility of flights from Azerbaijan's international airports in Ganja and Gabala, issues of organizing flights together with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC.

Meanwhile, during the meeting with Qatar's Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in spheres of culture and sports.

Garayev informed his Qatari counterpart about the 7th Global Forum of the UNAOC and invited him to attend the Forum.
