The 7th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations in Baku is a significant event, said the UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser during a press conference Apr. 25.
"Dialogue plays an important role in everything, including conflict resolution," he said. "This forum brings us together to discuss the world problems and find solutions."
He added that the forum helps prevent violence and extremism.
Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser arrived in Azerbaijan Apr. 22 to take part in the 7th UNAOC Global Forum, which kicked off in Baku Apr. 25.
