Baku, Azerbaijan, May 25
Trend:
Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey are expected to hold joint military exercises in summer of 2017 in Georgia, RIA Novosti quoted Vakhtang Kapanadze, head of the General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces, as saying May 25.
Kapanadze noted that however there can be some changes in the plans.
The counter-terrorism and security issues will be in focus during the drills, he added.
The agreement to hold the joint military exercises was earlier reached during a meeting of the three countries' defense ministers in Azerbaijan's Gabala city.
