Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept.6
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has viewed the conditions at the building of secondary school No. 109 in Baku’s Nizami district, after major overhaul.
The president was informed that the building was constructed in 1966.
A bust to martyr Rahila Orujova, a graduate of the school, was installed in the yard of the school.
There are photo stands in the foyer of the school reflecting National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s and President Ilham Aliyev’s meetings with teachers and their participation in the opening ceremonies of schools.
The 760-seat school has 42 classrooms and 5 departments. All the classrooms are supplied with state-of the-art teaching equipment.
Schoolchildren are served here by 85 teachers. Seventy-six percent of graduates of the school entered universities this year.
The president wished the school staff success.
