OSCE chairperson-in-office, Austria’s foreign minister Sebastian Kurz, will present the country’s chairmanship program and priorities to the OSCE Permanent Council Jan. 12 in Vienna, according to the press release posted on the OSCE website Jan. 9.
Kurz will outline Austria’s chairmanship priorities in all three OSCE dimensions with focus on crises and conflicts in the OSCE area, perspectives to rebuild trust and confidence and ways to address the phenomenon of growing radicalization and violent extremism, according to the press release.
Austria took over the chairmanship of the OSCE from Germany on Jan. 1, 2017.
