Air forces of Azerbaijan, Turkey mull expansion of co-op (PHOTO)

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Defense Minister and Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov has met with the delegation led by Turkey’s Commander of the Air Force, Army General Hasan Kucukakyuz, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, said the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry in a message Dec. 1.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and expansion of cooperation between the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as other issues of mutual interest.

The Turkish delegation has also visited the air bases of the Air Force of Azerbaijan.

The guests were fully informed about the activities of airbases.
