Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and Italian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Augusto Massari discussed in Baku military and political situation in the region, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a message Dec. 7.
According to the message, during the meeting, the sides also discussed the prospects for the development of military cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries and within the NATO programs, as well as prospects for cooperation with Italian defense companies producing weapons and military equipment.
