There is a great need for interfaith dialogue today in the light of the current problems in the world, said Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli.
He made the remarks at an international conference titled “2017 – Year of Islamic Solidarity: Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue” in Baku Dec. 21, Trend’s correspondent reported from the event.
Gurbanli noted that rapid arming is observed and there are conflicts in the world today.
“Against the background of all this, there is a great need for interfaith dialogue,” he added.
Gurbanli emphasized that there is a great need for culture of solidarity around the world.
