MP: Anti-national forces become active when Azerbaijan is in spotlight

Baku, Azerbaijan, April 9

Trend:

The forecasts were justified, and the expected happened – Azerbaijan again became a target; the forces that keep their finger on the “political trigger” have not changed, Azerbaijani MP Elman Nasirov told Trend April 9.

These are foreign Islamophobic, xenophobic political circles and antinational elements, he said.

Nasirov noted that these forces excessively intensify their efforts at important moments when Azerbaijan is in the spotlight, when important international events, elections and others take place.

“They again demonstrate their real face, or rather, facelessness, when Azerbaijan is on the threshold of an important political event. Their vocabulary consists of insults and abuse that are alien to our moral and ethical values and national identity. These elements blacken the closest associates of the president, not by just criticizing, but insulting and pouring mud over them. We shouldn't forget though, that traitors are despised even by those who use them. Subsequently, they will be simply thrown out. Let the anti-national forces don’t forget that the Azerbaijani people perfectly understand, under whose tune they dance and whose orders they implement,” the MP added.

Nasirov also said that the anti-Azerbaijan forces shouldn’t forget that the most terrible thing is the condemnation and anger of the people, and added that these forces should think about their future until it’s too late.
