BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 21. On March 21, within the framework of the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, a meeting was held between Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan, Trend reports citing the press service of Ministry of Defense.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that sincere friendly relations between the two countries' leaders play an important role in the development of relations of the countries.
Colonel General Z. Hasanov noted that the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is developing steadily, and expressed his gratitude to the leadership and people of Pakistan for supporting Azerbaijan's fair position at all levels, as well as within the international organizations.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between the two countries in various areas, including military cooperation, and exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
