NGOs MULL CONSOLIDATION

The Social Leaders union is planning a series of arrangements for joint cooperation of election blocs of NGOs.

Among the upcoming events, to be held by the Union, is a roundtable, Coordination of the activity of NGOs in elections, which has been scheduled for July 7.

The Social Leaders consider important that all local NGOs must develop and take up on the single stance, with the consolidation apparent at following stages.

So far the NGOs, active in Azerbaijan, have set up about ten election blocs to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections in November.

The Social Leaders union urges all NGOs to coordinate their activities and take part in the election as a unified force.
