(Caucasus-Press) вЂ" The frontier problems of Azerbaijan and Georgia remain unsolved. There is an administrative border between two countries, but the state border has not been determined yet, Badri Bisadze, the chairman of the State Force Defense Department of Georgia, said after the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elchin Guliyev on Wednesday.
“It evolves certain problems, even those which are almost impossible to resolve,” he underlined. This issue is the subject of the bilateral talks between the Foreign Ministries, Bisadze added,
In his turn, Guliyev noted that the meeting mulled issues of struggle against the international terrorism, illegal migration and smuggling. “We cooperate with Georgian counterparts in quite high level and regard as Georgia strategic partner,” he stressed.
The head of the Georgian frontier body also plans to pay a reply visit to Baku.
The Azerbaijani delegation will visit the Border Department of Gardabani and check point �Red bridge’ on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border on Thursday.
