“The monument to Heydar Aliyev, the former late President of Azerbaijan, will be erected in Lankaran in a month,” Zeynal Nagdaliyev, the head of the Executive Power, said in a recent meeting with the public.
Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, approved the project of the monument during his last meeting with the head of the District Executive Power, Trend reports.
He informed the President about actions implemented in the region and the problems. Aliyev promised his assistance in the solution of the problems, particularly, reconstruction of the heating system �Azaristilik Tajhizat’ and establishment of a special inter-region refrigerating storage in Lankaran.
Besides, the district authorities plans to asphalt roads, construct regional diagnostic centers of reanimation, surgery, hemophilia, do preparations for construction of international airport, overhaul of Istisu spa, water channels, 24 secondary schools, rural roads in the region at the President’s instruction.
