DISTRICT ELECTORAL COMMISSIONES WERE DISTRIBUTED BALLOT PAPERS IN GYANJA

В"The attention of all European countries is focused on the parliamentary elections to take place on 6 November in Azerbaijan. Changing their position towards our country depends on the elections’ results.

Therefore, for the elections to be fair and transparent, members of district (DEC) and constituency electoral commissions (CEC) must feel responsible towards their work, mobilize all forces to remove all possible shortcomings, falsifications.

In case these facts revealed on the election day, to notify the CEC immediately”, chairman of the first Kyapaz (Gyanja) constituency electoral committee N 39, Ibragim Djafarov stated during distribution of ballot papers to the district electoral committees, Trend regional correspondent
reports.

The chairman appreciated highly significance of the ballot papers, which the Central Electoral Commission introduced this year for avoiding frauds and falsifications and recommended to deliver them exactly by their addresses, to hand in the electors personally and to enter the signature into the register’s book.

The ballot papers of persons removed, died after being registered, must be submitted again to the DEC.

The district commissions will set to official work on 12 July.
