DATE OF VISIT OF IRAN’S FOREIGN MINISTER TO AZERBAIJAN TO BE PRECISED AFTER FORMING NEW CABINET

The ceremony of swearing in of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will take place on 24 July. After two weeks’ period the President will introduce a new Cabinet of Ministers to the Parliament.

One more week later, the Parliament is to approve the president’s team composition. Only after that, the date of the Iranian Foreign Minister’s visit to Azerbaijan will be confirmed, the Ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani told Trend.

According to him, the swearing in ceremony by the President in Iran is not so special, participation of foreign countries is not envisioned there. В"I think there will be no problems in the process of introducing the President Mahmud Ahmadinedjad’s team to the Parliament. And commencing mid-August the Cabinet of Ministers will set to work”, Suleymani noted.

According to the Iranian diplomat, Kamal Harrazi managed to preserve his post as the Foreign Minister after two presidential elections. It is not ruled out, he will remain on this post due to the great experience in the foreign policy. Suleymani underlined, the new Foreign Minister of Iran will visit Azerbaijan in autumn.
