“I don’t see any grounds for delay of the Finnish President’s visit to Azerbaijan scheduled for 29 September 2005. The will be no postponement in the term of the visit paid on his own initiative,” Novruz Mammadov, the head of the International Relationships Department of the President’ Executive Power, told Trend.
В"Azerbaijan does not have information on the postponement of the visit. We have set preparatory work for the forthcoming official meetings in the country. There are enough opportunities for expansion of cooperation between the two countries and the talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as well as different officials will provide necessary conditions for expansion of bilateral cooperation,” Novruz Mammadov said.
At present a program of the Finnish President’s 3-day visit is clarified through diplomatic channels, according to Mammadov.
