The meeting of the opposition in front of the Galaba cinema on Saturday was held without incidents. The Civil Solidarity Party, Azerbaijan Liberal Party, Progress Party, Free Azerbaijan Party, Great Establishment, and members of the elections block �Builders of civil society’ participated at the rally, organized by the National Democratic Party, Trend reports.
The participants of the meeting adopted a resolution concerning the liberation of Karabakh, the establishment of democratic conditions to hold the democratic parliamentary elections, the restoration of the passive suffrage of the former political prisoners, the establishment of favorable conditions for election campaign of candidates, repatriation of political exiles.
The organizations of the meeting said that thousands of people participated at the event, while Chingiz Mammadov, the chief of Yasamal District Police Precinct, noted in his interview to Trend noted that the number of the participants comprised 500.
