The Central Elections Commission (CEC) registered some election blocks in its Sunday meeting presided by Mazahir Panahov, the chairman of the CEC, Trend reports

Natig Mammadov, a secretary of the CEC, submitted information on the ProAzerbaijan Forces’, which was registered after the discussions. However, the block was not registered due to its emblem which contradicted Article 51.3 of the Elections Code. The CEC recommended the bloc to bring the emblem in accordance with the requirements of the Elections Code.

The meeting of the CEC resolved to register Democratic Azerbaijan and For Azerbaijan elections blocks.

Vidadi Mahmudov, another secretary of the CEC, submitted information about Instruction on participation of Azerbaijani residents and persons without citizenship’, which was confirmed later.

The CEC also made a resolution on registration of people who appealed with request to observe the elections and change of composition of the elections commission.
