On 26 July members of the Central Electoral Committee (CEC) training group carried out trainings for members of constituency electoral committees on Bingadi, Azizbekov, Evlakh, Udjar, Sumgayit-Apsheron, Salyan, Massalli, Imishli-Beylagan constituencies, CEC told Trend. Starting with 20 July training groups commenced holding trainings for electoral committees members. The trainings are conducted according to the Election Code and the decree of the President Ilham Aliyev of 11 May 2005.
Training programs include detailed explanation of the work with the voters’ lists, rights and commitments of the district electoral committees members, safety of electoral documents, ensuring transparency during the voting process, rights and commitments of observers, creating conditions for an unimpeded work of the media representatives, detailed explanation of the process and procedure of the voting. Practical lessons and visual aids application are envisioned during the interactive trainings.
During the trainings other issues, such as opening of polling stations on the voting day, the start of voting and the exclusive cases during voting, documents needed for participation in the voting, closing of polling stations, counting of votes and filling the final protocol on the results of voting and other issues will be considered.
