In January to May of 2005 the public budget incomes comprised 3.666trln manats (18.2% of the GDP) and expenses 3.672trln manats (18.5% of the GDP).

The deficit of the public budget comprised 5.9bn manats (1.3% of the GDP).

In this period the Taxes Ministry remitted 2,617bn manats to the public budget, over-fulfilling the forecasts 105.2%. The remittances by the State Customs Committee comprised 681.4bn manats, or 11.4% up the forecasts.

The public budget incomes were over-fulfilled except the transport taxes. In particular, income and profit taxes were executed by 310.7bn manats.
