Arthur Lenk, a new Israeli Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan, arrived in Baku on 9 August, the press-service of the Israeli embassy told Trend.
Arthur Lenk is a skilled diplomat, who worked at the Israeli Foreign Service, Department of International Law under the Israeli Foreign Minister in Jerusalem, was responsible for drafting legal opinions and planning policy on foreign relations, particularly, in regard to IsraelвЂ™s ties with the UN and other international organizations.
Lenk also served as an Israeli diplomat in India and the United States, represented Israel in Sharm el-Sheikh and acted as an official government spokesman.
Eytan Naye, the 3rd Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan completed his diplomatic tenure, left for motherland on 7 August. There is no information about his promotion.
