General YaЕџar BГјyГјkanД±t, the commander-in-chief of Turkish land forces, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on 7 September 2005, Trend reports quoting Turan Moraly, the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The diplomat said that the visit was part of a regular military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
On 20 July 2005 Turkish Defense Minister Vejdi Kenul stated in Baku that Turkey did not differ between its army and armed forces of Azerbaijan and was ready to render every assistance for the consolidation of the military mint of the fraternal country.
