The Cyprus Turkish Airlines (CTHY) Company will perform direct flights to Baku shortly, the Minister of Economy and Tourism of the Turkish Republic of the Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Dervish Kamal Deniz said, Trend reports, citing the Turkish “Zaman” newspaper.
The Minister pointed out, the government of Azerbaijan responded positively for the proposal to launch direct flights from Lefkosha (the capital city of TRNC) to Baku. According to Deniz, specific measures will be taken in this respect for the route to operate in the shortest possible time.
