President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the UNESCO Good Will Ambassador, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the UNESCO Director General Koishiro Matsuura, being on a visit in Baku took part in the stone-laying ceremony of the Mugam Theatre on 24 August in Baku, Trend reports.
The Theater of Mugam will be built on the area of the National Park, on the Neftyanikov avenue. The ceremony has been also attended by 7 UNESCO Good Will Ambassadors, the representatives from this international structure, as well as the officials from the government of Azerbaijan.
