PROGRAM OF FIRST VISIT OF DELEGATION OF TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN SYPRUS IN BAKU MADE PUBLIC

The direct flight from the Turkish Republic of the Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to Azerbaijan will be opened on 28 August. According to the report at the Union of the Business People of Azerbaijan and Turkey (UBPAT), the delegation of the Northern Cyprus will be on an unofficial visit in Baku since 28 August, Trend reports.

The delegation will arrive in Baku at the unofficial invitation of the chairman on work with the Azerbaijanis residing abroad Nazim Ibragimov. UBPAT will be dealing with the organizational and technical issues.

The TRNC delegation will comprise 80 persons, 60 of which will be represented by the business circles of TRNC. The delegation will be headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of TRNC, deputy Foreign Minister of TRNC, deputy Prime Minister Sardar Denktash.

Involvement of other Ministers is also planned. The first President of TRNC Rauf Denktash is also expected to arrive in Baku as a member of the delegation.

On the first day of their visit the guests will attend the Cemetery of Honours and the Martyr’s Alley, followed by unofficial meetings at different levels.

The Turkish Cypriots will hold a wide news conference on 31 August for the media. On 1 September Nazim Ibragimov will hold the news conference at the International press center.
