AZERBAIJAN SIGNED A DOCUMENT ON HUMANITARIAN CO-OP BETWEEN CIS COUNTRIES, ABBAS ABBASOV

Azerbaijan signed a document regulating humanitarian cooperation between the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and expressed its position on the items 7.5 and 7.6, Abbas Abbasov, the first deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, told Trend in an exclusive interview on 29 August.

“The items concern issues of struggle with terrorism, but we consider that they also must envisage separatism, which is further development of extremism and terrorism. However, separatism was not marked in the document due to resistance of some countries. Nevertheless, the signing of the document has great importance, as humanitarian cooperation is urgent for the CIS countries,” Abasov noted.
