MEETING ON DELIMITATION AND DEMARCATION OF AZERBAIJANI-GEORGIAN BORDER COMPLETED IN BAKU
The 7- th meeting of the state commissions of Azerbaijan and Georgia on delimitation and demarcation of the state border finished its work on 31 August. A final protocol was adopted on completion the meeting, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan told Trend.
A two-day meeting took place in the building of the AzerbaijanвЂ™s Foreign Ministry. The GeorgiaвЂ™s government delegation headed by the Foreign MinistryвЂ™s special envoy Malhaz Mikeladze took part in the sitting. The chairman of the AzerbaijanвЂ™s part of the commission is deputy Foreign Minister Halaf Halafov.
The subject matter of the discussion for the parties were 19 sub-sections of the state border with the length of 480 km. Some sections were agreed upon, on some sections the work will be continued at the 8-th meeting in Tbilisi.
