The colloquium on the topic “The social and political transformations on the Balkan and the Caucasus” will be held on 21 September 2005 in Baku. The event will
be organized by joint efforts of the Istanbul Institute of the Anatolian French researches jointly with the French Cultural Centre in Baku, the French Embassy to Azerbaijan told Trend.
The goal of the event is to conduct the comparative analyses of political, social, economic options and models of states after the fall of the socialism.
The director of the Balkan Researches Institute, professor of the Aristotel University in Tressaloniki, Bayram Baldji from the Istanbul Institute of the Anatolian French Researches, as well as the Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Rolan Blatman, representatives of various research centres of the country will take part in the work of the colloquium.
