The Azeri delegation, participating in the next meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the GUAM in Chisinau, met with Marian Lupu, the chairman of the Moldovan Parliament, Jahangir Husseynov, a member of the delegation, told Trend.
Husseynov noted that Lupu also executed liabilities of the chairman of the PA GUAM. “The meetings were very effective. We put the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on agenda anew and came out with proposal to solve the problem jointly with the Dnestr countries. Our proposal
was approved in high level,” he stressed.
According to Husseynov, Lupu highly appreciated the opinions of Elman Mammadov and Elton Mammadov on prospect of development of the GUAM countries. The MP also reported on the favor meetings held with the representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Moldavia. “We met with businessmen. The talks with Firuz Isayeva, the Director General of the Lukoil on Moldavia, based on bilateral economic interests, he said.
The Azerbaijan delegation will return to the country on 30 September.
