In January to August 2005 17067.6bn manats has been invested in the Azerbaijani economy ($3,556,935 under rates of 4798.4 AzM/USD, or 11.4% up the amount of investments for January to August 2004.

In 2004 actual investments comprised 24196.6bn manats ($4924,413m manats) with growth pace of 36.1%.

The forecast investments for 2005 constitute 22914.2bn manats ($4652.6m at average exchange rate of 4925.6 AzM/USD/), and actual investments in this period made up 74.48% of the forecast.

In January to August 4980.6bn manats ($1037.97m) has been invested at the expense of internal sources, which comprises 71,15% ($1421.3bn manats) of the 2005 exact forecast of 7000bn manats ($1421.3m).

The foreign investments comprised 12087bn manats ($2518.96m), which makes up 75,95% of exact forecast of 15914.2bn manats ($3231.3m).

Major investing sources in January to August were enterprises (14908.6bn manats with a rise of 10.5%), bank credits (790.8bn manats with a rise of 1% times), community funds (655.4bn manats with a rise of 45.4%), budget funds (454bn manats with a rise of 56.1%).
